Manually Set Trim Knife Hubs
Sauer System manufactures manually set trim knife hubs for converting machines, corrugators, and floor slitters. Hubs are made from cast iron, plated to prevent corrosion, and precision machined to ensure minimal face runout. Face runout is a critical to the application as even the highest quality trim knife will only run as true as the hub to which it is mounted.
Yoked Trim Knife Hubs
Sauer system also manufactures yoked trim knife hubs. When possible, a “dual trim knife” system is incorporated, whereby a secondary set of trim knives on the same hubs hold the primary trim knives constantly tight to ensure clean cutting, even if the yokes begin to wear.
